Hi I'm Mark, an Award Winning Documentary style Wedding Photographer covering Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, County Durham, Yorkshire and afar. My creative and contemporary style puts an exclusive twist on your images.
My style is a blend of authentic documentary, with fine art styled details and creative relaxed portraiture. I thrive off the emotions on show during a Wedding, I take honest photographs with life and energy on display. I love photographing people, interacting and capturing real unselfconscious moments...
From bridal preparation to tipsy antics at the evening reception, I'll tell the story of your wedding day. I love people and I place great emphasis on capturing the emotions of you and your guests.
Aside from a little time to take the more formal group & couple shots, you'll likely not notice me too much on the day. My style of photography is often described as 'candid' or 'documentary'.
I'm constantly watching & scanning the venue, looking for smiles, laughter, tears and tender moments. I'll create timeless images of your special day, from start to finish.
For most of your day I won’t interrupt you, ask you to pose unnaturally or ask you to do anything just for the sake of the camera. I’ll ensure you stay relaxed and enjoy your day spending quality time with your family and friends – just as it should.
I’m happy to meet with my couples as many times as is necessary in the run up to your wedding day. I’ll happily visit your wedding venue with you around a couple of weeks before the big day, this is beneficial for the both of us and helps everything to run smoothly. You’ll find that I ask you lots of questions, this is not me being nosey; I love people and I like to be prepared – preparation is crucial to the way I work.
